Leota Leslie, 72, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Saturday, September 2, 2006 at her home. Leota attended New Life Baptist Church and loved to work in her garden with her beautiful flowers. She was preceded in death by her son, Press Henry Cyrus.
Survivors include her daughters, Wanda Posey of Soddy-Daisy and Brenda Perrin of Iowa; brother, Myrul Burrows of Coctron, PA; sisters, Oleta Dye and Juanita Hefler, both of Spencer, WV, Reva Hanshaw of Sandstone WV; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be at 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 5, 2006 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Danny Keener officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-7 PM Tuesday.
